860E-1K Electric Drive Truck
The 860E-1K utilizes Komatsu Drive with Siemens AC control and liquid cooled Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) inverter system for the highest available reliability. Hill Start allows the operator to start on a grade without roll back. Traction control assists the operator to power through wet sloppy underfoot condition. Oil cooled multi-disc brakes and retarder give the operator confidence in his control and stopping ability, especially when fully loaded. A front mounted elevating pantagraph can be mounted to allow the Komatsu Trucks 860E-1K to utilize electrified overhead trolley lines.
